In It For The Long Haul

enpho.com is something you don’t find very often. We’re a company that’s been working with the web since 1998. In the web-world, that’s a lifetime! We go back to the time when no one really knew what to do with the web, or frankly, HOW to do anything other than post some text and maybe make an email icon light up.

Back then, we were working with what is now one of the world’s largest radio news networks to create a system for delivering audio to their affiliates. (As far as we could determine, it was the first time any broadcaster used the web in this way.) Over time that system has been updated and adopted by other broadcasters, but the basics we put in place are still being used today. A few years ago, we helped them create a RSS (Really Simple Syndication) setup to make it easy for affiliates to interface with the network’s systems. That’s still ahead of most of their competitors.
